Travel insurance? I never move without it. Even the most carefully planned trip can quickly become an expensive disaster. Murphy's law says, and I paraphrase, "if something can go wrong, you can bet your life that it will." You could get sick, miss a flight, or have one canceled for bad weather. You could lose your luggage, or even worse, your golf clubs. Here's something I once saw on a billboard in Heathrow Airport, London, advertising travel by Concord: "Breakfast in London, Lunch in Paris, Dinner in Dubai." Some wag had added "Luggage in Miami." You get the idea. So, it makes sense to purchase a little travel insurance, right? But did you know you can also purchase specialized golf travel insurance that will cover just about everything from lost luggage to the bar bill you'll have to pay should you get a hole-in-one?
