Family hosts fall festival to raise funds for Coaches vs. Cancer

One Granger family opened their home to the entire community Sunday for a fall festival.

For the seventh year, the Leonard's went all out for this party.

From pony rides, to face painting and fire truck tours, the event brings some free autumn fun for kids.

The only thing the family asks: donations to raise funds for Coaches vs. Cancer and the American Cancer Society.
Scott Leonard, organizer

?Everybody knows somebody that?s been affected by cancer and its dear to our hearts,? said the event organizer Scott Leonard. ?We want to do something to make a difference. After our fourth fall festival, my dad got sick and we lost him in a very short time to a brain tumor.?

The Leonard's say they want to carry on this tradition for many years to come. They have raised around $20,000 so far.
