Dinner with an Expert Fall Event Collaborating for Progress ...

// October 25th, 2012 // NI Updates

Schulich Net Impact introduces a unique approach to networking.? Once per semester, we invite you to share your?ideas about sustainability with fellow MBA students, alumni and professionals over dinner in downtown Toronto.

The topic for November is?Collaborating for Progress: Facilitating Sustainable Business Through Cross-Sector Partnerships. Addressing the world?s environmental and social issues is becoming a mission for all sectors (business, non-profit, government). In order to address the complexity of these issues and achieve greater sustainability, all sectors need to forge new cross-sector partnerships.

A variety of professionals from the public, private, and non-profit sectors will be in attendance to share their thoughts and experiences with students. Discussion will explore?how businesses are currently leveraging partnerships to achieve greater sustainability, what the gaps are and what the future looks like. Through this event, we hope to give students an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals within the MBA community and beyond.

Confirmed guests include:

  • Renee Gomes, Director of Development, Waterfront Toronto
