YouTube has positioned itself as a go-to source for everything 2012 Election with the YouTube Elections Hub, a one-stop shop for election news, and today they have announced the schedule for the upcoming live streams of the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.
Starting on October 3 with the first Presidential debate you?ll be able to watch Obama and Romney and Biden and Ryan face off live on YouTube.? Olivia Ma, News and Politics Manager at YouTube, writes on the YouTube blog, ?This year, for the first time, you can watch the de bates live and in full on the YouTube Elections Hub, via our partners at ABC News, who will be live streaming all four debates on the ABC News YouTube Channel.?
Unlike some live streams, which are only available in certain countries, the debates will be accessible to anyone in the world with an Internet connection.
The debates are scheduled for the following dates and times:
- First Presidential Debate ? October 3 at 9:00 pm ET
- First Vice Presidential Debate ? October 11 at 9:00 pm ET
- Second Presidential Debate ? October 16 at 9:00 pm ET
- Second Vice Presidential Debate ? October 22 at 9:00 pm ET
If you can?t tune in to watch the debates live, they?ll have the full videos as well as highlights clips available afterwards at youtube.com/politics.
