A position with the Company represents an opportunity to get involved with emergent product types within the real estate industry, and to contribute to the growth of new investments.? The firm is expanding quickly in the single-family rental asset class - utilizing a fully integrated platform with capabilities that span market research and analysis, acquisitions, renovation, leasing, and property management to invest in this new asset class. The Company is currently expanding into new markets, and is seeking to build out the broader team.

TITLE: Market Lead

?

DESCRIPTION

The Market Lead is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the South Florida portfolio, including oversight of acquisitions, renovation, leasing, property management, and reporting for South Florida.? In this function the lead will work closely with the corporate office as well as manage the local team and develop and manage relationships with local brokers and contractors.?

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve monthly acquisition targets and ensure that acquired properties meet criteria

????????? Manage acquisition team to build pipeline of MLS, trustee sale, and private transaction ? ? ? ?opportunities

????????? Manage MLS and trustee sale underwriting

????????? Manage bidding, offer, and closing process

????????? Leverage and build on established relationships with local brokerage professionals to ? source new acquisition opportunities

????????? Ensure timely implementation of post closing checklist

Oversee the renovation and lease up of acquired properties on time and on budget

????????? Manage field team to efficiently scope and bid renovation work

????????? Ensure renovations are completed on time and on budget

????????? Build on existing relationships with local contractors and third party vendors

????????? Troubleshoot problems related to renovations, vacancy negotiations and other issues as they arise

?

Monitor performance and ensure accurate and timely reporting

????????? Track performance and trends, identify areas of underperformance and implement corrective action

????????? Oversee acquisition, renovation and property management team data input

????????? Produce accurate and timely market level reporting

?

QUALIFICATIONS

????????? Bachelor?s Degree from leading US institution required

????????? Minimum 4-6 years of homebuilding, asset management, investment banking and /or private equity experience with a focus on residential real estate

????????? Established on-the-ground experience in South Florida residential real estate market

????????? Strong managerial, analytical and organizational skills, previous experience managing 5+ individuals with proven track record of managerial success

????????? ?Extremely well-developed analytical abilities with proven expertise in Excel, Yardi experience preferred but not required

????????? Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high intensity work environment

????????? Highly self-motivated individual, outstanding interpersonal skills; team-oriented
